The Park City Interfaith Council will host a concert performance of John Rutter’s “Requiem” at 7 PM on Saturday, February 8th at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 4594 Silver Springs Drive. Over 100 local choristers of all ages will be participating in this hauntingly-beautiful presentation. Debra Cook, founder of the (non-profit) Utah Conservatory Choral Society, will be the guest soloist, and she will reprise this role at Carnegie Hall on Feb. 16, along with several chorus members. Award-winning Conductor Jonathan Griffith will serve as Guest Conductor for both performances.
This collaborative effort between the Utah Conservatory and volunteers from years Park City Interfaith Council Choirs is a reflection of efforts to bring together faith traditions through music ? building bridges of culture, diversity, service and friendship throughout our area.
The concert is free; however, suggested donations at the door are $15; tickets may also be purchased for $10 in advance at Park City Music. Donations will be applied to production costs. Sponsorships are also welcomed.
